Notes on New Features for 2009

 Official Request Window
A league can now set the amount of time before a game in which a official can make an assignment request or self-assignment. Go to League Official Settings.

 View All Users in League
Any official who can Edit Users can now see a list of all users who are associated with the league. You can edit any user directly from the list. TO USE: go to Edit Users from your home page and click on Show User List.

 Time Stamp Official Requests
The Official Coordinator can now see when a official has requested an assignment. This is for leagues that uses Request/Confirm mode. Go to All Official Assignments. Any games with current requests are noted with a Requested button. The Edit Game form will note the date and time for requests (See Example).

Auto-notification of Caution and Ejection Reports
Email is sent automatically to the Official Coordinator, the League Administrator, and the League President.

 Improved Navigation of Official List
There is now alphabetic indexing for traversing the Official List.

 Teams List for League Websites
Leagues can now easily create an html page with a list of teams that link to the Team Page. This page is self-contained and the styles can be easily edited to conform with the styles of a league website. This means that a league can make it easy to navigate from their website to view team schedules.

Tournament Scorecards for Round Robin Tournaments
Tournament Scorecards can now be generated automatically for large format printing. These cards can be used at the field to keep track of a division's progress. (See Example Scorecard).

Official Coordinator can see who has reported results
The Games Officiated Report now indicates if a report for a game has been made and if a official has made a results report. There is a new column called "Reports." If there is a View link, then there has been some type of report made for the game. In addition, if a Official name is in GREEN, then that official has made a results report for that game.

League Option to tie reporting of results to Official Pay
There are two new league settings:
   A. Specifying which Officials can report game results.
   B. Tying the reporting of results to Official Pay. If the switch is on, then at least one official who is authorized (see A) must make a results report for a game in order for that game to be included in the computing of official pay. In effect, this is a tool to for validating official attendance in addition to insuring that results are reported for the purposes of standings and/or monitoring a division for competitive balance.

Improved formatting of the Game Reports and Official Grade Reports by coaches
Reports are easier to access and read. Ways to access reports:
   A. The Official Coordinator can see lists of reports by going to Game Reports, then selecting the criteria for reports.
   B. The Official Coordinator can see the Game Reports for a single game by going to Games Officiated Report > View.
   C. The Official Coordinator can see grades for a official by going to Officials > View Grades.
   D. The Official Coordinator can see all grading by a coach by going to the Division Schedule, then Show Teams and clicking on a coach name.
   E. A Official can see game reports by going to Games I Officiated > View.

 Consolidation of Game Report Form
There is now a single Save Button on the Game Report Form. There is now also an option to Delete specific reports.

Authorized Officials can Report No Shows
Officials who are authorized to make reports can report No Shows. This can be done from the Games I Officiated Report.
